What I’m Doing Now

Right now I’m living in the countryside of Ayabe, Kyōto in Japan with a partner and am focussing on these five things like the five fingers of a hand;

  • Contributing remotely in various support functions and collaborating in various teams for an online community and organization called Nonviolent Global Liberation (NGL for short).

  • Storyboarding and illustrating activities of people and daily life that I’m inspired to draw and sketchbooking scenes, landscapes and objects in daily life as a way to document the time I am here. I haven’t figured out a way to share this online yet.

  • Practising jazz piano, going on treks, practising making wood tables, doing small household renovations and aikidō!

On pause;

  • Creating bi-monthly daily life vlogs featuring meals made with locally grown or foraged food that’s in season.

  • Sharing my detailed monthly income and expenditures as well as spending plan on the my finances page of this blog along with the needs I was trying to meet with each expenditure and how.

  • Offering printed by donation wall prints of photographs I’ve taken of the nature around me as digital downloads on an Etsy shop called Creative Rest Print Shop that I’m working on opening.
